The committee recommends <br />approval of the legislation <br />4) A Finance Committee meeting will beheld at 7:30 p.m, on Monday, March 11. <br />Mrs. Saringer, Chairperson of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee: 1 <br />Committee members were reminded of the invitation to attend the Recreation Commission <br />meeting on March 13. <br />Mr. Nashar, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee: 1) The <br />committee met on Tuesday, March 5. in attendance were Council Members Limpert, <br />O'Grady and Nashar and Safety Director Kasler. The committee discussed a notice from <br />the State Liquor Board for a stock transfer for Nam Wah Express Inc., 26625 Brookpark <br />Road extension. The principal owner, Phuong Le Thai, bought out the shares of her <br />partners and the business will remain the same. The committee had no objection. Mr. <br />Nashar moved that Council have no objection to the stock transfer for the Nam Wah <br />Express Inc.; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />2) Mr. Nashar gave the address of the State Liquor Board for anyone in the audience who <br />wished to communicate then- feelings about a liquor permit application. <br />Mr. Limpert noted that the Elile Ditch project, which was delayed last fall due to weather, <br />is scheduled to start tomoi7•ow. <br />Mr. O'Grady, Chairperson of the Intra-Govenunental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee: 1) The committee met on February 22. Present were <br />Council Members Musial, Limpert, McKay, O'Grady and Lind (by phone). Also present <br />was Mr. Thomas J. Liggett who was being interviewed for an appointment to the <br />Architectural Review Board. Mr. Liggett is a principal in the Arcus Group architectural <br />firm and demonstrated the expertise and solid credentials that will make him an asset to <br />the ARB. Mr. O'Grady moved to approve the appointment of Mr. Thomas J. Liggett to <br />the Architectural Review Board; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. <br />2) The committee meeting previously scheduled for Wednesday, March 6, has been <br />changed to Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Sue Liebe, 4384 Bentley Drive, spoke about her concerns regarding the possible opening <br />of an adult entertaimnent bar n~ North Olmsted. Mrs. Liebe and other residents are <br />gathering names on petitions which will be sent to the State Liquor Board to protest the <br />transfer of a liquor permit for this establishment. The residents fully support the Council's <br />objection to the transfer of the liquor permit. Mayor Boyle suggested that copies of the <br />petitions should be given to the Safety Director.
