Members of the committee see long-range planning as an activity <br /><~~ that can be used to assist the Council and the administration in the areas of finance, streets <br />and transportation, equipment replacement and programs within the city wards. <br />Hopefully, a future meeting will take place with all members of Council and the <br />administration to discuss strategic planning and long-range planning. <br />2) A joint meeting with the Finance Committee will be held at 7 p.m on Wednesday, <br />February 7. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, expressed appreciation to the administration for the <br />fine job of snow removal and to the refuse collection crews that did not miss a pickup <br />during the recent inclement weather. <br />Mr. Limpert announced to the audience that Council had received the flood report from <br />the administration. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 95-2vntroduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication Al Moen Drive in the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. <br />Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 95-2 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 95-150 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending the City of North Olmsted Codified Ordinances Section 947.01 <br />entitled `mules and Regulations," in order to permit the city to enter into a concession <br />agreement for the purpose of selling food and non-alcoholic beverages in city parks and to <br />permit, through express written permission of the city, nonprofit groups or organizations <br />to enter into concession agreements for the purpose of selling food and non-alcoholic <br />beverages in city parks for limited special events, with the exception of the annual <br />Homecoming which will require no concession permit as mandated in this ordinance, as <br />amended. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 95-150 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 95-158 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. A <br />resolution opposing the use of a product distribution process called cross-docking, and <br />declaring an emergency as amended.
