Council Minutes of 1/2/96 <br />_,,; R Ordinance No. 96-2 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />Y~ ordinance establishing the compensation, benefits and working conditions for salaried <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Lme, who are not members of <br />the North Olmsted Transit Employees Association collective bargaining unit and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-2 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-3 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with the George S. Rider Company to provide architectural and engineering services for <br />improvements to the Springvale Country Club and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-4 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Saringer. An <br />ordinance accepting for recording purposes only the plat for the rededication of Hawkins <br />Avenue for street and highway purposes in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 96-5 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />installation of a traffic signal system at the intersection of the new fire station No. 1 <br />(24291 Lorain Road) and Lorain Road and declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-5 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-6 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />addition of the John Knox Church drive to the traffic signal system at the intersection of <br />Lorain Road and Great Northern Boulevard and declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second <br />by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-6 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 96-7 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />removal of a traffic signal system at the intersection of the old fire station No. 1 (25128 <br />Lorain Road) and Lorain Road and declaring an emergency. Mr. Musial moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mrs. <br />Saringer; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mrs. <br />Saringer; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 96-7 adopted. <br /> <br />4 <br />
