Council Minutes of 12/16/97 Ordinance No. 97-112 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance adopting a new Section 1501.1504 entitled "Personal Liability" within Part Fifteen of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio entitled Taxation Code, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-112 adopted. Ordinance No. 97-113 introduced by Mr. Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section One of Ordinance Number 96-56, which establishes rates of compensation for various administration and legislative personnel, and declaring an emergency as amended. Mr. Musial moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-113 adopted. Ordinance No. 97-114 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An ordinance amending Section Two of Ordinance Number 96-56, which establishes rates of compensation for various administration and legislative personnel and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-114 adopted. Ordinance No. 97-117 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1997 as amended. Mr. Lind moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 97-117 adopted. Ordinance No. 97-118 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Nashar. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted by providing for the installation of a stop sign at the southwest corner of Maple Ridge Road and West 231st Street intersection (regulating eastbound traffic on Maple Ridge Road) and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 97-119, an ordinance providing for the amending to the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted by changing the hereinafter described parcels of real property located on Bradley Road, west of Barton Road, from Limited Industry-Industrial Park District to A-One Family Residence District. Mayor Boyle commented that he thought this ordinance was proper and a good idea for all the reasons he had stated previously during the meeting. He believes in our form of government, which is open to a public forum. The "government in this neighborhood has spoken" and it is obviously their feeling that they would rather keep this area as light industrial. Therefore, he will not sponsor the legislation. Mr. O'Grady moved that Ordinance No. 97-119 be removed from the agenda. The motion was seconded by Mr. Nashar and unanimously passed.
