Council Minutes of S/19/97 <br />~r, Resolution No. 97-62 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids directly or <br />jointly with Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority for removing existing <br />underground storage tanks at the Police Station, at Springvale Golf Course and at the <br />LeBern Lift Station and installing a new above ground storage tank at Springvale Golf <br />Course and at LeBern Lift Station as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-64 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of the enclosure of the <br />wet well at the Dover Lift Station, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-65 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the installation of a stop sign on Ranchview Avenue where the same intersects with <br />Timber Cove, thereby regulating northbound traffic on Ranchview Avenue, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 97-67 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Cablevision of the Midwest, Inc. for the purpose of renewing a lease of land from the <br />City of North Olmsted Recreation Complex for aone-year term, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 97-69 introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the entire <br />Council was given its second reading. A resolution acknowledging the receipt of notice <br />from the Board of Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, establishing a public <br />hearing upon a petition for annexation from Christ the King Church of property located in <br />Olmsted Township, and adopting a statement of the services which the City of North <br />Olmsted will provide to the territory upon annexation, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 97-70 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A <br />resolution supporting the Cuyahoga County Board of Health in its policy of vaccinating <br />domestic pets for rabies in order to stop the movement of raccoon strain rabies virus <br />westward from the Pennsylvania border, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously.
