Council Minutes of 11/17/98 <br />Miller, yes; Kasler, yes; Gareau, yes with comment that it was his intention to give <br />consideration to amending the resolution to remove from the list of residences those <br />which had complied with the requirements and demands of the City of North Olmsted. <br />He has been unable to confirm which of these addresses are now in compliance with the <br />resolution and earlier requests of the city to abate the nuisance. He does want the record <br />to reflect that the property at 24440 South Oxford Oval has undertaken measures to repair <br />that problem, and from his observations it seems that the problem has been corrected. <br />Roll call continued: O'Grady, yes; Limpert, yes. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 98-120 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-121 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for roof, HVAC <br />and insulation improvements at Fire Station Number Two as detailed in the plans and <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Kasler; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 98-121 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-110 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the fees to be charged for the use of the North Olmsted Springvale <br />Golf Course and Ballroom, and declaring an emergency as amended. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion <br />passed unanimously. Mrs. Kasler moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-110 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-94 introduced by Mr. Gareau was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 351.04 of the Traffic Code of the City of North Olmsted so <br />as to provide increased criminal penalties for unlawful parking at handicapped parking <br />locations on public and private lots, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 98-122 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons <br />of asphalt and tack coating of city streets, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 2,000 tons <br />of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency.
