Council Minutes of 6/16/98 <br />Ordinance No. 98-14 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the organization of the Police Division of the Department of Public <br />Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />98-14 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-29 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 911.09 entitled "Sewer Connections; Tap-in <br />Permit, Fee and Penalty" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, <br />as amended. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-29 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-61 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Patrolmen's <br />Benevolent Association, which agreement is the collective bargaining agreement between <br />the city and the North Olmsted Correction Officers, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-61 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-62 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation, benefits and working conditions for salaried <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, who are not members of <br />the North Olmsted Transit Employees Collective Bargaining Unit, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-62 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-63 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State <br />Natureworks Local Grants Program administered by the Ohio Department of Natural <br />Resources for funding of stormwater management and accessory improvements at the City <br />of North Olmsted's Springvale Golf Course and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-64 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with RWL Architects, Inc., to provide architectural services for the design of Fire Station <br />No. 2 roof improvements and declaring an emergency.
