Council Minutes of 6/16/98 Ordinance No. 98-14 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance establishing the organization of the Police Division of the Department of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-14 adopted. Ordinance No. 98-29 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 911.09 entitled "Sewer Connections; Tap-in Permit, Fee and Penalty" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, as amended. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-29 adopted. Ordinance No. 98-61 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, which agreement is the collective bargaining agreement between the city and the North Olmsted Correction Officers, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-61 adopted. Ordinance No. 98-62 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance establishing the compensation, benefits and working conditions for salaried employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, who are not members of the North Olmsted Transit Employees Collective Bargaining Unit, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-62 adopted. Resolution No. 98-63 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State Natureworks Local Grants Program administered by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for funding of stormwater management and accessory improvements at the City of North Olmsted's Springvale Golf Course and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 98-64 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with RWL Architects, Inc., to provide architectural services for the design of Fire Station No. 2 roof improvements and declaring an emergency.
