Council Minutes of 5/6/98 <br />;~:Y Ordinance No. 98-37 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />.:~ ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into leases with <br />Cablevision of the Midwest, Inc., and Northern Ohio Interconnect, Inc., for the purpose of <br />renewing and entering into new leases of certain lands owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted at the Recreation Center Complex and used in connection with the Cablevision <br />Television franchise, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-39 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing residency as a condition of employment for non-bargaining unit <br />employees. Mr. Limpert moved to table; second by Mr. Gareau; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-39 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 98-40 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for rehabilitation <br />of the roof over the ice rink at the North Olmsted Recreation Center in the City of North <br />Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rule <br />requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 98-40 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-41 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for rehabilitation <br />of the HVAC system for the ice rink at the North Olmsted Recreation Center in the City <br />of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of <br />the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 98-41 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-42 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for one (1) <br />23,100 lb. GVWR, Chassis (Low Profile), and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-43 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $202,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />constructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving an addition to the city's <br />Police Station and preparing and improving the site thereof, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 98-44 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $202,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />constructing and reconstructing storm sewers and storm water drainage facilities, and <br />`~ declaring an emergency. <br />=o <br />10 <br />
