Council Minutes of 5/6/98 <br />Ordinance No. 98-45 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />~~ ~ ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $843,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving <br />certain designated streets in the city, in cooperation with Cuyahoga County and the <br />Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio and otherwise, by grading, draining, <br />curbing, reconstructing the pavement base, replacing culverts, preparing the surface, <br />surfacing and resurfacing and installing street lighting, traffic signalization and related <br />underground wiring, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 98-46 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $672,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving <br />the city's park and recreational facilities by remodeling, renovating, rehabilitating and <br />otherwise improving the Recreation Center, and acquiring real estate and interests in real <br />estate for park and recreational use. Mr. O'Grady moved to table; second by Mr. <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-46 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 98-47 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $454,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving <br />the city's sanitary sewerage system by constructing sanitary sewers, force mains and <br />pumping facilities and by constructing and reconstructing storm sewer and other storm <br />water drainage facilities and improvements to control and limit the volume of storm water <br />entering or otherwise affecting the sanitary sewerage system, in each case together with <br />the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 98-48 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />of $266,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving the city <br />administration complex by renovating, remodeling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping <br />and otherwise improving the Town Hall included therein and improving the site thereof by <br />removing and replacing underground storage tanks and otherwise modifying fuel storage <br />facilities and equipment, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 98-49 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $41,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of renovating <br />the city's Fire Station No. 2 by replacing its roof and otherwise improving the station and <br />its site.
