Council Minutes of 3/2/99 <br />,,~ LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 99-17 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution opposing House Bill 702 regarding changing the amount of fines, penalties and <br />forfeited bail moneys distributed by various courts to county law library associations. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 99-17 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 99-21 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for construction <br />of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing, pavement repairs and street lighting at <br />various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 99-22 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $1,100,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />improving certain designated streets in the city, in cooperation with Cuyahoga County, <br />the City of Westlake and the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio and <br />otherwise, by grading, draining, curbing reconstructing the pavement base, preparing the <br />surface, surfacing and resurfacing and installing street lighting and related underground <br />wiring, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 99-23 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $500,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />improving the city's sanitary sewerage system by constructing and reconstructing storm <br />sewers and other storm water drainage facilities and improvements to control and limit <br />the volume of storm water entering or otherwise affecting the sanitary sewerage system, <br />in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Ordinance No. 99-24 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $300,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />improving the city's park and recreational facilities by remodeling, renovating, <br />rehabilitating and otherwise improving the Recreation Center. <br />Ordinance No. 99-25 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading.
