Council Minutes of 3/2/99 ~ Resolution No. 99-26 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for paint striping of streets at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. (The resolution was assigned to the Streets & Drainage Committee.) Resolution No. 99-27 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for pavement improvements in Woodview Drive as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. (The resolution was assigned to the Streets & Drainage Committee.) Resolution No. 99-28 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf of himself and Mr. Nashar. A resolution requesting the Ohio Department of Transportation to improve Lorain Road, State Route 10, from the west corporation line to the east corporation line by resurfacing and curb and catch basin repair, and declaring an emergency. (The resolution was assigned to the Streets & Drainage Committee.) Ordinance No. 99-29 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance to transfer funds from the Bus Fund to the General Fund in the amount of $120,153 for materials and parts reimbursement funds received from the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority in the 1995 and 1996 annual audits of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, in which these materials and parts were owned by the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. (The ordinance was assigned to the Finance Committee.) Ordinance No. 99-30 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance establishing an account in the Wastewater Treatment Plant Fund of the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of improving the city's sanitary sewer system by constructing and reconstructing storm sewers and other storm water drainage facilities and improvements to control and limit the volume of storm water entering or otherwise affecting the sanitary sewerage system and declaring an emergency. (The ordinance was assigned to the Finance Committee.) Ordinance No. 99-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and to request cooperation by the Director of Transportation. (Upgrade signing on Interstate 480.) (The ordinance was assigned to the Streets & Drainage Committee.) Ordinance No. 99-32 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance to establish within the Special Revenue Fund Group a "Community Diversion Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency.
