Council Minutes of 10/17/2000 ~ Ordinance No. 99-108 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. An ordinance creating new Section 929.04 of Chapter 929 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, entitled "Underground Utility and Communications Systems" to require the construction of underground service drops or connections from the public right-of--way or a utility easement to commercial buildings in the City of North Olmsted, which are in the process of development or redevelopment, and declaring an emergency as amended. An ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for the President of Council of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January 1, 2002 and ending December 31, 2005 and declaring an emergency as amended. An ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January 1, 2002 and ending December 31, 2005 and declaring an emergency as amended. Ordinance 2000-133 introduced by the Mayor and all of Council was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the City of North Olmsted to enter into the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council of Governments and the execution and delivery of the agreement establishing such Council, for the purpose of jointly establishing and implementing an electricity aggregation program, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Kasler moved to suspend the rule requiring three readings and noted that the ordinance has been reviewed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Councilwoman Kasler moved for adoption; second by Councilman Miller; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-133 adopted. 12
