Council Minutes of 10/17/2000 <br />Ordinance No. 2000-134 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, <br />hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, in the matter of the hereinafter described <br />improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by its Board of <br />County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY. (Porter Road repair and <br />resurfacing) <br />Resolution No. 2000-135 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for yard <br />piping and sludge building modifications at the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2000-136 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and all of Council. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District far the year 2001, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-137 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to extend for three months a <br />lease agreement for a portable, complete dewatering centrifuge system for the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-138 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to enter into negotiations for <br />possible purchase of the leased portable, complete dewatering centrifuge system for the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-139 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />O'Grady on behalf of the entire Council. An ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances <br />by adopting current replacement pages; and declaring an emergency. Councilman <br />O'Grady moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and review by committee; <br />second by Councilman McKay; motion passed unanimously. Councilman O'Grady <br />moved for adoption; second by Councilman McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-139 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-140 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar. An ordinance creating new Section 1139.13 of Chapter 1139 of the Zoning <br />Code, entitled "Masonry Brick Required in Construction of Exterior Walls of <br />Commercial Buildings," so as to require that all new commercial buildings in the General <br />Retail Business District have exterior walls with a certain amount of masonry brick. <br />13 <br />
