Council Minutes of 10/3/2000 <br />Ordinance 97-4; second by Councilman Miller. Roll call: McKay, yes; Miller: yes; <br />,~ Gareau: yes; Kasler: yes; O'Grady: abstain, as an employee of the North Olmsted City <br />School District, he will abstain from any votes dealing with revenue and the district. Roll <br />call continued: Nashar, yes; Limpert, yes. The motion passed with six affirmative votes <br />and one abstention. Ordinance No. 97-4 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 97-125 introduced by Mayor Boyle. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a contract for the purchase of real property on the north side of Bradley Road <br />to be used for recreational purposes. Councilman McKay moved to table Ordinance <br />No. 97-125; second by Councilman Gareau; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 97-125 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 99-70 introduced by Councilman McKay. A resolution declaring the <br />necessity of repairing and replacing certain public sidewalks at sundry locations within <br />the City of North Olmsted, and providing that abutting property owners repair and <br />replace the same. Councilman McKay moved to table Ordinance 99-70; second by <br />Councilman Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-70 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 99-121 introduced by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the <br />Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the collection of all refuse in the City <br />of North Olmsted, as per specifications now on file in his office, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same. Councilman McKay moved to table Ordinance 99-121; <br />second by Councilman Gareau; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 99-121 <br />tabled. <br />Resolution No. 2000-103 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution declaring it necessary to repair sidewalks at the following residential properties <br />located in the City of North Olmsted; Charles Road (Nos. 6507, 6523, 6603, 6635, 6652, <br />6684, 6700, 6715, 6747) and Georgette Avenue (Nos. 4404, 4626), and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption; second by Councilman Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2000-103 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-107 introduced by Councilwoman Kasler was given its third <br />reading. An ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland, Director of the <br />Department of Human Resources, to make application on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant funds for the fiscal year 2001 for <br />multiple projects titled sidewalk curb cuts for disabled persons and older persons, <br />Americans with Disabilities Act improvements at the North Olmsted Recreation <br />complex, and water main improvements for Summerland Avenue, Virginia Avenue, <br />MacBeth Avenue and Esther Avenue and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman <br />Kasler moved for adoption; second by Councilman Gareau; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-107 adopted. <br />6 <br /> <br />
