Council Minutes of 9/19/2000 <br />Resolution No. 2000-109 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year beginning <br />~:. <br />January 1, 2001, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and declaring an <br />emergency as amended. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. (Mr. O'Grady took his <br />seat at this point, 9:15 p.m., and voted "yes" on the adoption of the Resolution No. <br />2000-109.) Resolution No. 2000-109 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-112 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the A.F.S.C.M.E. <br />Council Eight, Local 3517, N.O.M.B.L., which agreement is the collective bargaining <br />agreement between the city and the North Olmsted Local 3517, N.O.M.B.L., and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Gareau moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Gareau moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-112 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-113 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2000 as <br />amended. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second <br />by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second <br />by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-113 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-114 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit and seek financial assistance from the State <br />Issue 2 Infrastructure Bond Program for funding of various municipal capital <br />infrastructure improvements projects, and declaring an emergency as amended. Mr. <br />Gareau moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Gareau moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2000-114 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-115 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to ail part-time hourly <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; <br />second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-115 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-116 introduced by Mrs. Kasler was given its second reading. A <br />resolution expressing support of the passage of House Bill 761, which would impose an <br />additional mandatory seven (7) year term of imprisonment upon individuals convicted of <br />certain felony offenses involving the discharge of firearms at peace officers, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mrs. Kasler moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings and noted that this has been reviewed in committee; second by Mr. Miller. Roll <br />11 <br /> <br />
