Council Minutes of 6/6/2000 <br />Ordinance No. 2000-55 introduced by Mr. Gareau was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a storm sewer easement located on property owned by Veronica L. <br />& Edward J. Zak and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 234-16-002 in Cuyahoga <br />County Maps and Records, said easement shown on Exhibit "C" and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-56 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Sandhu & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of HVAC <br />improvements for the offices and lobby of the Recreation Center and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-60 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance approving the final draft Solid Waste Management Plan Update 2001-ZOIS of <br />the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-61 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance creating a reserve balance account in the General Fund for the purpose of <br />budget stabilization and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-62 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2000 as <br />amended. <br />Resolution No. 2000-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mrs. Kasler. A <br />resolution accepting the application of Hennie Homes, Inc. to annex certain real property <br />in Olmsted Township, consisting of 23.4428 acres of land located south of Cook Road <br />near Bronson Road, to the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. <br />Kasler moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mrs. Kasler moved for adoption; <br />second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2000-21 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />approximately 8,000 tons of salt, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Polytech, Inc. to provide engineering services for the design of roof improvements <br />for the canopy and lobby of the Recreation Center and declaring an emergency. <br />21 <br />
