Council Minutes of 2/15/2000 <br />Ordinance No. 2000-12 introduced by Mayor Musial on behalf of himself and the entire <br />~""` Council. An ordinance creating new and revised Chapter 1163 of the Zoning Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted, entitled "Signs." <br />Ordinance No. 2000-14 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Miller. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br />the installation of a "No Turn on Red" (R-23-24) sign with a supplementary legend " 3 <br />p.m. to 6 p.m. School Days" at the intersection of Mill Road and Dover Center Road for <br />traffic traveling in an easterly direction on Mill Road and turning south onto Dover <br />Center Road and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2000-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a lease with <br />Northern Ohio Interconnect, Inc. for the purpose of extending for eight months the <br />present lease of this tenant at the Recreation Center complex used in connection with the <br />Cablevision Cable Television franchise, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2000-17 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for sidewalk <br />and accessory improvements in Brookpark Road as detailed in the plans and <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a FinancelRecreation Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on <br />Thursday, February 24. Following that meeting, the Finance/Transportation Committee <br />will meet. Mr. Bohlmann is requested to attend. (Mr. Limpert will check if the Rec <br />Commissioner would care to attend to discuss the lease at the Rec Center.) <br />Mr. Gareau scheduled a Streets & Drainage Committee meeting for February 22 at <br />6:30 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2000-17. Mr. Bohlmann is asked to attend. <br />Mrs. Kasler scheduled at Legislative Committee meeting at 6:40 p.m. on February 22 to <br />conduct interviews for the Landmarks Commission. <br />Mr. Miller said that at a later date he would be scheduling a Transportation Committee <br />meeting to discuss Ordinances 2000-2 and 2000-15.
