Council Minutes of 11/20/2001 <br />Resolution No. 2001-138 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons <br />of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2001-139 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Services to advertise for bids for a <br />maximum of 35,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for yeaz 2002 for use by the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and <br />declazing an emergency as amended. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the <br />rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-139 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-140 introduced by Councilman Miller on behalf of himself and <br />Councilman McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic <br />Control Fite of the City of North Olmsted by providing for the installation of "No <br />Parking" signs on Coe and Elm Roads near the intersection of Coe and Elm Roads, and <br />declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-142 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2001 as <br />amended. Councilman Miller moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Miller moved for adoption. Ordinance No. 2001-142 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-143 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its second <br />reading. A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget <br />Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County <br />Auditor. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />McKay moved for adoption. Resolution No. 2001-143 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-145 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. Councilman McKay noted that he <br />was in possession of the Fiscal Offrcer's Certificate. An ordinance providing for the <br />issuance and sale of $850,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay <br />costs of improving South Canterbury Road between certain termini by grading, draining, <br />widening, paving, constructing and reconstructing curbs, gutters, catch basins, sanitary <br />sewers, storm sewers, waterlines, sidewalks and driveway approaches, and installing <br />9 <br />
