Council Minutes of 9/4/Z001 <br />Resolution No. 2001-104 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />construction and installation of ADA toilet room facilities and other improvements at the <br />North Olmsted Recreation Center as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to emer into an agreemern with the Ohio Council 8 <br />and Local 2681 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, <br />covering Service and Waste Water Treatment Plant employees, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to erner into an agreemern with the Ohio Council 8 <br />and Loca12681 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, <br />covering Clerical and Technical employees, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-107 was irnroduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar on behalf of himself and Councilman Miller. An ordinance creating new Chapter <br />959 of the Public Services Code, entitled "Sale of Surplus Real Properly," in order to <br />require that city residents, whose properties abut city-owned real property, receive prior <br />notification of the city's intent to sell surplus real property, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-108 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller. An ordinance amending Sections 149.02 and 1123.09 of the Zoning Cade in <br />order to establish clear procedures for notice to be given to condominium property <br />owners affected by proposed developments and requested variances. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar. An ordinance amending Section 1163.02, 1163.10 and 1163.15 of Chapter 1163 <br />(Signs) of the Zoning Code so as to clarify the definition of the word "Sign" as used in <br />Chapter 1163, and further to provide for the removal of abandoned signs, and <br />nonconforming signs the use of which has been voluntarily discontinued, in a manner <br />which is consistent with the requiremerns of Section 713.15 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Resolution No. 2001-110 was irnroduced and placed on fast reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler. A resolution supporting House Bill 290 and Senate Bill 127, each of which <br />represents an effort by the Ohio Legislature to reduce the cost of prescription drugs for <br />senior citizens, and others in the State of Ohio who either have no health insurance or are <br />underinsured, by establishing astate-funded RX discount program, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />NIISCELLANI~Q l~S ~~IS _ !~ <br />President Saringer announced that a public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, <br />September 12, with regard to Resolution 2001-98, the tax budget. <br />11 <br /> <br />
