Council Minutes of 4/3/2001 <br />Since Mr. Pangrac had previously e~ressed an interest in serving on that committee, <br />he plans to ask the chairperson to appoint him to the committee. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2001-23 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the purchase <br />of a biosolids transportation trailer for the Wastewater Division and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-23 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-25 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for repair of the <br />roof in the lobby area at the North Olmsted Recreation Center in the City of North <br />Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />the same and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman O'Grady and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2001-25 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-26 introduced by Mayor Musial was given it third reading. A <br />resolution the authorizing Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for repair of the <br />HVAC system in the lobby area at North Olmsted Recreation Center in the City of North <br />Olmsted as detailed as the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />the same declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-26 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2001-32 introduced by Councilman Nashar was given its third reading. A <br />resolution requesting the United States Postal Service review the inadequacy of the <br />parking lot at the North Olmsted branch office, which is causing a traffic safety problem <br />on Lorain Road in the immediate vicinity of the branch office, and, as well, resident and <br />patron dissatisfaction with the available lot, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Dailey and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2001-32 adopted. <br />Resolution 2001-48 introduced by Mayor Musial on behalf of himself and the entire <br />Council was given its second reading. A resolution declaring April 24, 2001 to celebrate <br />Arbor Day and the award of 2001 Tree City USA. Councilman McKay moved to <br />suspend the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Dailey and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Dailey. Roll call: McKay, yes; Dailey, yes; Limpert, yes; <br />Miller, yes, with comment that he thought it was timely that this evening Council <br />received a memo from the city Forester regarding a possible outbreak of gypsy moth <br />damage in our city. He appreciates Mr. Wendell keeping Council posted on that issue <br />with a very informative packet. Roll call continued: Nashar, yes; O'Grady, yes; Kasler, <br />yes. The motion passed unanimously.
