Council Minutes of 3/20/2001 <br />~, Resolution No. 2001-16 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />~.~ resohrtion authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the Sharon <br />Drive pavement reconstruction in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the <br />specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption; second by Councilman Dailey. <br />Roll call: McKay, yes; Dailey, yes, with a comment. "On behalf of the residents of <br />Ward 2 and Sharon Drive, thank you." Roll call continued: Kesler, yes; Limpert, yes; <br />Miller, yes; Nashar, yes; O'Grady, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2001-16 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-17 introduced by Councilman McKay and Mayor Musial was given <br />its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the <br />maximum aggregate principal amount of $2,500,000 for the purpose of improving the <br />city's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility by constructing an irrigation system, <br />a maintenance and storage building and drainage, cart path and other improvements for <br />the gaff course and renovating, remodeling, adding to, furnishing, equipping and <br />otherwise improving the clubhouse and ballroom Councilman McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Councilman Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 2001-17 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-18 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $1,550,000 for the purpose of improving certain designated streets in <br />the city, in cooperation with Cuyahoga County and otherwise, by grading, draining, <br />widening, reconstructing the pavement base, preparing the surface, surfacing and <br />resurfacing, constructing and reconstructing curbs, gutters, catch basins, storm sewers, <br />sanitary sewers, water lines, sidewalks and driveway approaches and installing traffic <br />signs and signalization, street lighting and related underground wiring, where necessary <br />in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. <br />Councilman McKay moved for adoption; second by Councilman O'Grady; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-18 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-19 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $510,000 for the purpose of improving the city's storm water <br />drainage system by constructing, reconstructing and otherwise improving storm sewers <br />and other storm water drainage facilities, together with the necessary appurtenances and <br />work incidental thereto. Councilman McKay moved for adoption; second by Councilman <br />Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2001-19 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-20 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of bonds in the maximum aggregate <br />principal amount of $225,000 for the purpose of improving the city's park and <br />recreational facilities by constructing tennis, shuffleboard and basketball courts and <br />improving playing fields, driveways and parking facilities at North Olmsted Park. <br />,; <br />11 <br /> <br />
