Council Minutes of 12/3/2002 <br />Ordinance No. 2002-166 introduced by Councilman Gateau was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance creating new Section 139.07 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Criminal <br />Records Checks Required for Contractors of Division of Parks and Recreation," in order <br />to promote the safety and welfare of children using the city's park and recreation <br />facilities, and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Gateau moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-166 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2002-167 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewal <br />agreement with the Department of the Navy for the lease of two (2) EA.AN/PVS-5 night <br />vision goggles to be used by the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilwoman Kasler moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-167 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2002-168 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a settlement <br />agreement with Ed Bak, retired Fire Chief for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring <br />an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-168 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-172 introduced by Councilman Nashar was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to accept conveyance <br />of fee simple of certain real property & record same, to then enter deed restrictions upon <br />to run with the development land, and then to reconvey title to Fairview Office <br />Associates, LLC, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Nashar moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 2002-172 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-176 imroduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 945.07 of the Codified Ordinances, entitled "Exemption <br />for Public School Activities," in order to permit North Olmsted Public Schools to rent the <br />Community Cabin and Senior Center without charge. Councilman McKay moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-176 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2002-178 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the payment of one thousand nine hundred ten dollars and fourteen <br />cents ($1,910.14) to the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County for storm sewer materials <br />provided by the Cuyahoga County Engineer for a storm sewer on Barton Road, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-178 <br />adopted. <br /> <br />11 <br />
