Council Minutes of 11/14/Z002 <br />Y Resolution No. 2002-165 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />` resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of Finance to compensate Lisa Thomas, <br />former Director of Pubic Safety, for 99.5 hours of accumulated and unused compensatory <br />time, on a moral claim basis, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-166 introduced by Councilman Gazeau was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance creating new Section 139.07 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Criminal Records Checks Required for Contractors of Division of Parks and <br />Recreation," in order to promote the safety and welfare of children using the city's park <br />and recreation facilities, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Resolution No. 2002-167 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewal <br />agreement with the Department of the Navy for the lease of two (2) EA.ANIP~S-5 night <br />vision goggles to be used by the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-168 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a settlement <br />agreement with Ed Bak, retired Fire Chief for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-169 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into three <br />agreements with SBC Ameritech for sixty-month terms in order to provide data line <br />services currently used by the Police Department, the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line, and the Waste Water Treatment Plant, at a reduced rate, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman McKay moved for adoption.
