Council Minutes of 11/14/Z002 Y Resolution No. 2002-165 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A ` resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of Finance to compensate Lisa Thomas, former Director of Pubic Safety, for 99.5 hours of accumulated and unused compensatory time, on a moral claim basis, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2002-166 introduced by Councilman Gazeau was given its second reading. An ordinance creating new Section 139.07 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Criminal Records Checks Required for Contractors of Division of Parks and Recreation," in order to promote the safety and welfare of children using the city's park and recreation facilities, and declaring an emergency as amended. Resolution No. 2002-167 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewal agreement with the Department of the Navy for the lease of two (2) EA.ANIP~S-5 night vision goggles to be used by the North Olmsted Police Department, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2002-168 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a settlement agreement with Ed Bak, retired Fire Chief for the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2002-169 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into three agreements with SBC Ameritech for sixty-month terms in order to provide data line services currently used by the Police Department, the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and the Waste Water Treatment Plant, at a reduced rate, and declaring an emergency. An ordinance amending Section 555.03 of the General Offenses Code in order to harmonize the treatment of and time for unloading trucks in commercial zones. Ordinance No. 2002-172 introduced by Councilman Nashaz was given its second reading.
