Council Minutes 10!15/2002 Ordinance No. 2002-142 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a joint funding agreement with the U. S. Geological Survey, U. S. Department of the Interior, for the operation and maintenance of a gage for realtime data collection, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-142 adopted. Resolution No. 2002-138 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to make emergency upgrades to one underground storage tank at the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line garage, and two underground storage tanks at the Service Garage, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2002-145 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,00 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring a fire pumper and other related fire apparatus and equipment; and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2002-146 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a maintenance agreement with Ohio Time Corporation regarding the Infotronics Attendance System and Software, at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2002-147 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman McKay on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution declaring November 11, 2002 "Veterans Day" in North Olmsted, Ohio and to salute, honor and remember our veterans at a Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2002 at Old Town Hall, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar. Roll call: McKay, yes; Nashar, yes; Miller, yes, with thanks to all of our veterans. Ro11 call continued: Gareau, yes; Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; Dailey, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-147 adopted. Resolution No. 2002-148 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District for the year 2003. Resolution No. 2002-149 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the new North Olmsted branch library furniture and furnishings contract as detailed in the specifications on file in the office of the Mayor, further authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. 14
