Council Minutes 10!15/2002 <br />Ordinance No. 2002-142 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a joint <br />funding agreement with the U. S. Geological Survey, U. S. Department of the Interior, for <br />the operation and maintenance of a gage for realtime data collection, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-142 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2002-138 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to make emergency upgrades to one underground <br />storage tank at the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line garage, and two underground <br />storage tanks at the Service Garage, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-145 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,00 of notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring a fire pumper and other related fire apparatus <br />and equipment; and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-146 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a <br />maintenance agreement with Ohio Time Corporation regarding the Infotronics <br />Attendance System and Software, at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-147 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />McKay on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution declaring November 11, <br />2002 "Veterans Day" in North Olmsted, Ohio and to salute, honor and remember our <br />veterans at a Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2002 at Old Town Hall, and <br />declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar. Roll call: McKay, yes; Nashar, yes; Miller, yes, with thanks to all <br />of our veterans. Ro11 call continued: Gareau, yes; Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; Dailey, yes. <br />The motion passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-147 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2002-148 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with the Cuyahoga County General Health District for the year 2003. <br />Resolution No. 2002-149 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the new North Olmsted <br />branch library furniture and furnishings contract as detailed in the specifications on file in <br />the office of the Mayor, further authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />14 <br />
