Council Minutes of 8/6/2002 <br />Resolution No. 2002-94 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />' resolution authorizing the payment of twenty-seven thousand three hundred twenty <br />dollazs and forty-six cents. ($27,320.46) to Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP for legal <br />services rendered in connection with the termination of the USEPA consent decree. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-99 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />an amendment to Article III (The Mayor) of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to <br />authorize elected first-term mayors to make interim director appointments, and declaring <br />an emergency as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-100 introduced by Councilman Dailey and Councilman Limpert was <br />given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of <br />the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article III, Section 5(a) of the Charter of <br />the City of North Olmsted in order to eliminate the Charter requirement that the Mayor <br />obtain the concurrence of two-thirds of the Members of Council prior to removing from <br />office the Director of Public Service, the Director of Public Safety, the Director of <br />Human Resources, or the heads of any other city departments or divisions created by <br />Charter and appoirrted by the Mayor, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-102 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance creating new Section 533.15 of the General Offenses Code to <br />define the offense of invasion of privacy and to provide criminal sanctions for such <br />offense. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-103 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance Nos. 94-148 and 2000-37, establishing a new fee and <br />chazges schedule for the rendering of emergency medical services and ambulance <br />transportation by the City of North Olmsted, creating a new special revenue fund entitled <br />"Emergency Medical Services" fund, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-105 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the "Environmental Specialist" position salary range as either a <br />full time or a part time position, and otherwise re-establishing the rates of compensation <br />for vazious administrative and legislative personnel and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-106 introduced by Councilman Miller was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />an amendment to Article VII, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in <br />order to establish the requirement that certain members of the City Landmarks <br />Commission meet specific professional qualifications and to otherwise satisfy criteria for <br />certification by the Ohio Historical Society, and declazing an emergency as amended. <br />:, <br />21 <br />
