Council Minutes of 6/18/2402 <br />Ordinance No. 2002-76 introduced by Mayor Musial and the entire Council was given its <br />second reading as twice amended. An ordinance amending Section 915.04 (User <br />Chazges) of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, in order to eliminate the 1.0 <br />' MCF per quarter minimum sewer use charge for the OM&R component of the sewer rate <br />for North Olmsted users, and declaring an emergency as twice amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-44 introduced by the Mayor and entire Council was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance temporarily amending the Traffic Control File of the City of <br />North Olmsted by placing two "No Left Turn" signs on the north side of Butternut Ridge <br />Road near 26670 and 26610 Butternut Ridge Road, in order to prohibit left turns into the <br />Butternut Ridge Elementary School driveway during certain school hours, and an <br />additional two "No Left Turn" signs on the west side of Dover Center Road near 4290 <br />and 4240-4260 Dover Center Road, in order to prohibit left turns into the Pine <br />Elementary School driveway during certain school hours and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Miller moved to table the ordinance. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gazeau and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-44 tabled. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-82 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 955.02 of Chapter 955 of the Codified Ordinances (Sale of <br />Surplus Personal Property) to authorize the Dvector of Public Service to dispose of <br />surplus personal property with a fair market value of less than one thousand five hundred <br />dollars without Council approval, and by auction, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-83 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for <br />the installation of four "No Turn on Red" signs at the Dover Center Road and Driscoll <br />Lane/Cottonwood Trail signalized intersection and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-84 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to solicit bids for the rental of golf <br />carts and other vehicles for Springvale, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract <br />for said vehicle rentals, subject to approval by the Boazd of Control, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three <br />readings; second by Councilman Limpert. Roll call: McKay, yes; Limpert, yes; Nashar, <br />yes; Gazeau, yes; Kasler, yes; Miller, yes, commenting that he hoped the carts would be <br />used sooner rather than later. Roll call continued: Dailey, yes. The motion passed <br />unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-84 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-89 by Mayor Musial and the entire Council was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement amending the <br />existing Capital Charges Agreement between the City of North Olmsted and the City of <br />Fairview Park, in order to provide for the assessment of additional debt service chazges to <br />the Fairview Park Service Area relating to loans made to the City of North Olmsted for <br />five capital improvement projects from 1992 to 1997 which, in part, benefited the <br />Fairview Park Service Area, and declaring an emergency.
