Council Minutes of 5121/20(!2 <br />Ordinance No. 99-126 inrtroduced by Councilmen Gareau and Miller was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance creating a new Chapter 177 of the city Administrative Code, <br />entitled "Department of Planning," in order to establish a Department of Planning for the <br />City of North Olmsted and to create the position of Director of Planning. <br />Ordinance No. 2000.161 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance creating new Section 165.16 of Chapter 165 of the Administrative <br />Code of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Procedure for Minor Changes," in order to <br />establish an expedited approval procedure for minor changes to historical structures and <br />other buildings and structures located in historical districts, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-60 introducal by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the yeaz ending December 31, 2002 as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-65 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />amendments to Article III, Sections 3 and 5(b); and Article VII, Section 1(a), 2(a), and <br />4(a) of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to remove all references to voting by <br />"elected" members of Council. <br />Resolution No. 2002-67 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to solicit bids for new weapons for <br />the City of North Olmsted Police Department, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a <br />contract for the purchase of said weapons subject to approval by the Boazd of Control, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-69 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to receive proposals and authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into an agreement for designing and preparation of drawings for the <br />rehabilitation of the Low Pressure Oxidation Building No. 1 (LPO1) roof, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-71 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musiai. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 141.08 of the Administrative Code entitled <br />"Environmental Specialist," in order to create and provide for the duties of the position of <br />Environmental Specialist, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-72 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance creating new Section 111.03 Et Seq. of Chapter 111 of the Administrative <br />Code (City Contracts) in order to establish a standardized request for proposals (RFP) <br />process for persons or firms proposing to provide contract services to the city, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />10 <br />
