Council Minutes of 5/8/2002 A the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of amendments to Article III, Sections 3 and 5(b); and Article VII, Section i(a), 2(a), and 4(a) of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to remove all references to voting by "elected" members of Council. Resolution No. 2002-66 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to solicit bids for the construction of new tennis courts at North Olmsted Park, and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said construction subject to approval by the Board of Cornrol and declaring an emergency. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to solicit bids for new weapons for the City of North Olmsted Police Department, authorizing the Mayor to enter imo a contract for the purchase of said weapons subject to approval by the Board of Control, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2002-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to ernes into a new professional services ageement with Jerry Ludvik, the golf pro at the Springvale Golf Course, for the period April 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review and with the comment that Mr. Ludvik has been performing in this capacity for many years.
