Council Minutes of 3/19/02 <br />Ordinance No. 2002-17 introduced by Council Members Nashar and Careau was given <br />its second reading. An ordinance amending Section 351.18 and 353.0? of the Traffic <br />Code in order to increase the fines for certain parking offenses, as amended. <br />Resolution No. 2002-29 inroduced by Councilman McKay on behalf of the Mayor and <br />all of Council was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of <br />Public Service to advertise for bids for the South Canterbury Road reconstruction in the <br />City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-30 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Medina County Board of County Commissioners, providing for the said Board to <br />house North Olmsted prisoners at the Medina County Jail, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-31 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 1301 of the City Building Code entitled <br />"Ohio Building Code" for the purpose of incorporating amendments set forth in the 2002 <br />amendments of said State law and to maintain the certification of the Building <br />Department to enforce the Ohio Building Code, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Dailey moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-31 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-32 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revisal Chapter 1305 of the City Building Code entitled <br />"One, Two and Three Family Dwelling Code" for the purpose of incorporating <br />amendments to industry standards, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Miller <br />moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readies. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 2002-32 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-34 inroduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2002 as <br />amended. <br />Resolution No. 2002-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolurion declaring April 26, 2002 to <br />celebrate Arbor Day and the award of 2002 Tree City USA. <br />Resolution No. 2002-36 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council.
