Council Miautes of 3/S/OZ <br />,~, O'Cnady said that the emergency clause had been removed. Councilman Limpert moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2442-15 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-16 imroduced by Mayor Musial was given its secomi reading, An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to emer into a letter of <br />agreement with Local 2681, Ohio Council 8, AFSCME, thereby amending the collective <br />bargaining agreement between the City of North Olmsted and Loca12681, Ohio Council <br />8, AFSCME for the city's service unft, in order to establish the new position of, and pay <br />rate for, "Head Mechanic" in the bargaining unit, and declaring an emergency as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2401-127 introduced by Councilwoman Kesler and Councilman Miller <br />was given its second reading. An ordinance establishing a special revenue fund for fines <br />collected from handicapped parking violations for the purpose of funding purchases of <br />equipment for seniors, ~nior activities, and subsidizing the senior hot bench program, as <br />amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2401-131 introduced by Councilman Limpert was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section 1363.07 of Chapter 1363 of tlur Real Property <br />Maiirtenance Code, entitled "Duties and Responsibilities of Owners and Operators," so as <br />to require the removal and replacement of fences on commercial property abutting <br />residernial property which have fallen into a slate of disrepair such as would require <br />repair or replacemern of more than fifty percern (50'0) of the fence, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-14 introduced by Councilman Gareau and Mayor Musial was given <br />its second reading as amended. An ordinance establishing fees for programs and for the <br />use of the facilities of the Parks and Recreation Department, repealing Ordinance No. <br />96-114, and declaring an emergency as amended. Councilman Gareau moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring throe readings; second by Councilman Limpert. Roll <br />call: Gareau, yes; Limpert, yes; McKay, Yes; Miller, yes, noting that the legislation had <br />been discussed in committee. Roll call cominued: Dailey, Yes; Kesler, yes; Nashar, Yes; <br />The motion passed unanimously. Councilman Crareau moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2442-14 <br />adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-24 irnroduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />an amendmern to Article III (The Mayor) of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to <br />authorize elected first-term Mayors to make imerim director appointments. <br /> <br />12 <br />
