Council Minutes of 2/19/02 <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Miller. Roll call: McKay, yes; Miller, yes, noting <br />that the legislation was discussed in committee. Roll call continued: Nashar, yes; <br />Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; Gareau, yes; Dailey, yes. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-18 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2402-19 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City <br />of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2002 as amended. Councilman <br />McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting that the <br />ordinance had been to committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-19 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North <br />Olmsted of an amendment to Article III (The Mayor) of the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted to authorize elected first-term Mayors to make interim director appointments. <br />Resolution No. 2002-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />pavement markings of streets at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as <br />detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />construction of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various <br />locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2002-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />construction of street lighting at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as <br />detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2002-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part-time hourly <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />;, <br />10 <br />
