Council Minutes of 2/19/02 motion was seconded by Councilman Miller. Roll call: McKay, yes; Miller, yes, noting that the legislation was discussed in committee. Roll call continued: Nashar, yes; Limpert, yes; Kasler, yes; Gareau, yes; Dailey, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-18 adopted. Ordinance No. 2402-19 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2002 as amended. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting that the ordinance had been to committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-20 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article III (The Mayor) of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted to authorize elected first-term Mayors to make interim director appointments. Resolution No. 2002-21 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for pavement markings of streets at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2002-22 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for construction of catch basin, manhole, sidewalk, curbing and pavement repairs at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 2002-23 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for construction of street lighting at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2002-24 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance establishing the compensation and benefits to be paid to all part-time hourly employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. ;, 10
