Council Minutes of 12/16/20(13 <br />Resolution No. 2003-169 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to solicit bids for the purchase of <br />cell phones and cell phone service per specifications on file in his office, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter into a contract for said purchase subject to approval by the Board of <br />Control, if necessary, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved to table. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2003-169 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 2003-170 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for partial depth <br />concrete joint repair on various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications <br />on file in his office, and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of <br />Control, if necessary, to enter into a contract for said repairs and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Limpert moved to table. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay <br />and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-170 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 2003-171 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing <br />on various streets in the City of North Olmsted, as per specifications on file in his office, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to <br />enter into a cornract for same and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-172 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 5,000 tons <br />of stone for various Service Department needs, as per specifications on file in his office, <br />and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Control, if necessary, to <br />enter into a contract for same and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-174 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a <br />three-year agreement with SBC providing for the city to participate in SBC's Valuelink <br />program and receive volume discounts for phone use. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-175 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase six (6) new Crown <br />Victoria Interceptor Cruisers, and related Police equipment, for the North Olmsted Police <br />Department through the state purchase program; further authorizing the Mayor to execute <br />all necessary contract documents; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-176 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance dispensing with the RFP process otherwise required by Section 111.03 et seq. <br />of the Administrative Code and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Floyd <br />Browne Associates, Inc. ("FBA") for the purpose of providing consulting engineer <br />services to the city regarding the city's NPDES permit for Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />operations, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of <br />the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau. <br />10 <br />
