Council Minutes of 11/18/2003 <br />Ordinance No. 2003-138 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and legislative <br />personnel for the years 2004 and 2005. <br />Ordinance No. 2403-141 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation, benefits and working conditions for salaried <br />employees employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, who are not members of <br />the A.F.S.C.M.E., Local 3517, Collective Bargaining Unit, which said compensation is <br />reimbursed by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority in the operating <br />agreement. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-150 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2003. <br />Councilman McKay moved to amend the ordinance to include the transfers of $14,500 to <br />the traffic installation line item and $500 to engineering services in the Engineering <br />Department and $4,000 for recodification. The money for the amendment will be <br />transferred from the retirement and vacation line item in General Administration. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings, and the motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert. The motion passed unanimously. Councilman <br />McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-150 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-151 introduced by the Mayor and entire Council was given its <br />second reading. A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the <br />Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the <br />County Auditor. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-154 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 945 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code <br />entitled "Community Cabin/Senior Center," specifically amending Section 945.05 <br />"Rates, Charges and Deposits." <br />Ordinance No. 2003-155 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Safety to purchase two new rescue squads, <br />three new utility vehicles, and other related equipment, for the North Olmsted Fire <br />Department through the state purchase program; further authorizing the Mayor to execute <br />necessary contract documents; and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-156 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $550,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring emergency rescue squad <br />and other motor vehicles and related equipment for the city's Fire Department. <br /> <br />9 <br />
