Council Minutes of 11/5/2003 Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library but is no longer needed for municipal purposes, be sold to the Boazd of Education of the North Olmsted City School District; further authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract and all other documents required to effectuate the said sale, and declaring an emergency. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS President O'Grady announced that a public hearing would be held at 7 p.m. on November 18, 2003 to discuss Ordinance 2003-123. Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on November 11 to discuss Ordinances 2003-150, 2003-151, 2003-155, 2003-156, 2003-157 and the pay ordinances 2003-137, 2003-138, 2003-141. The Finance Director, Safety Director and Mayor are asked to attend Councilman Gareau scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting immediately following the Finance Committee on November 11 to discuss Ordinance 2003-154. Human Resources Director Copeland is asked to attend. Councilman Nashar scheduled a BZD Committee meeting immediately following the Recreation Committee on November 11 to address two Planning Commission items and the issue of Friends Church. The Law Director and representatives from the Building Department and Engineering Departments are asked to attend. A representative from Friends Church and Mr. & Mrs. Davison will be invited to attend. Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately following the BZD Committee on November 11 to discuss a liquor permit, Birch School safety issues and funding issue, and a Fire Department personnel issue. The Mayor, Safety Director, Fire Chief and Personnel & Administrative Director are asked to attend. Councilman Miller scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- Range Planning Committee immediately following the Public Safety Committee on November 11 to discuss the Rules of Council. Mayor Musial noted that, at the meeting of October 21, Mr. Stotz had presented some comments. He asked Safety Director Jesse to respond to those comments. Rather than read Mr. Jesse's response into the record, he would like it to be attached to this evening's minutes. With no objection from Council, President O'Grady agreed that Mr. Jesse's response to Mr. Stotz's comments would be attached to the minutes. (See attachment.)
