Council Minutes of 11/5/2003 <br />Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library but is no longer needed for municipal <br />purposes, be sold to the Boazd of Education of the North Olmsted City School District; <br />further authorizing the Mayor to execute a contract and all other documents required to <br />effectuate the said sale, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President O'Grady announced that a public hearing would be held at 7 p.m. on November <br />18, 2003 to discuss Ordinance 2003-123. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on November 11 <br />to discuss Ordinances 2003-150, 2003-151, 2003-155, 2003-156, 2003-157 and the pay <br />ordinances 2003-137, 2003-138, 2003-141. The Finance Director, Safety Director and <br />Mayor are asked to attend <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Finance Committee on November 11 to discuss Ordinance 2003-154. Human <br />Resources Director Copeland is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Nashar scheduled a BZD Committee meeting immediately following the <br />Recreation Committee on November 11 to address two Planning Commission items and <br />the issue of Friends Church. The Law Director and representatives from the Building <br />Department and Engineering Departments are asked to attend. A representative from <br />Friends Church and Mr. & Mrs. Davison will be invited to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting immediately <br />following the BZD Committee on November 11 to discuss a liquor permit, Birch School <br />safety issues and funding issue, and a Fire Department personnel issue. The Mayor, <br />Safety Director, Fire Chief and Personnel & Administrative Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee immediately following the Public Safety Committee on <br />November 11 to discuss the Rules of Council. <br />Mayor Musial noted that, at the meeting of October 21, Mr. Stotz had presented some <br />comments. He asked Safety Director Jesse to respond to those comments. Rather than <br />read Mr. Jesse's response into the record, he would like it to be attached to this evening's <br />minutes. With no objection from Council, President O'Grady agreed that Mr. Jesse's <br />response to Mr. Stotz's comments would be attached to the minutes.
