Council Minutes of 10/7/2003 <br />Ordinance No. 2003-131 introduced by Councilman Miller was given its second reading <br />as amended. An ordinance authorizing and directing Don Copeland, Director of the <br />Department of Human Resources, to make application on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year <br />2004 for development of an exterior property maintenance program, and declaring an <br />emergency as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-132 introduced by Councilman Gazeau was given its second reading <br />as amended. An ordinance amending Chapter 1331 of the Building Code entitled <br />"Dangerous or Unsafe Buildings," specifically amending Section 1331.13 "Authority of <br />Building Commissioner to Examine Premises" as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-133 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading as <br />amended. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor, upon the review and approval of the <br />Boazd of Control, to enter into a sole source and direct purchase agreement with Walker <br />Process Equipment for the acquisition of a primary settling tank/collector drive assembly <br />system for the Wastewater Treatment Plant, without public bidding, and declazing an <br />emergency as amended. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rule requiring <br />three readings and noted the legislation was reviewed by committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Miller and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-133 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-135 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 2003. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-136 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of the entire Council. An ordinance to revise the Codified Ordinances <br />by adopting the current replacement pages; and declazing an emergency. Councilman <br />Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashaz and passed unanimously. <br />Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, asked for the cost of the recodification. The Clerk <br />replied that it was close, but not more than, the appropriated amount of $6,000. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Nashar and passed unanimously.
