An ordinance providing for the submission to the <br />electors of the City of North Olmsted of an amendment to Article III, Section 5(a) of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted to require that mayoral appointments of directors be <br />subject to the consent and approval of the members of the Council, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-88 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for currem expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted far the year ending December 31, 2003 as <br />amended. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewal <br />agreement, for a seven year term with SBC Global Services, Inc., on behalf of the Ohio <br />Be11 Telephone Company, providing for centrex service to the City of North Olmsted, <br />and declaring an emergency as amended. An ordinance amending Section 141.01 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Dog Warden," in order to clarify the duties of the city's Animal Warden, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-92 introduced by Councilman Gateau was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 1359.01(d) and 1359.99 of the Building Code, entitled <br />respectively "Definitions" and "Penalty," and further creating new Sections 1359.08 and <br />1359.09 of the Building Code, entitled respectively "Information to be Provided <br />Regarding Unoccupied Commercial Building" and "Property Maintenance Bond," in <br />order to regulate unoccupied commercial buildings, to enable the Building Commissioner <br />to cause the abatement of nuisances, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Councilman Gateau moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings.
