Council Minutes of May 20, 2003 <br />Resolution No. 2003-77 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a new <br />maintenance agreement with Climate-Tech, Inc., providing for HVAC maintenance at <br />Fire Station Number One for aone-year period, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-78 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Ramsey & Associates Personnel Management, Inc., to provide testing services to the <br />Civil Service Commission in connection with the Assistant Fire Chief promotional <br />examination, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of <br />the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and <br />passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. Resolution No. 2003-78 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement <br />with Browning Ferris Industries of Ohio, Inc. ("BFI"), consenting to BFI's assignment, <br />for securitization purposes, of its right to receive payment under its solid waste collection <br />and disposal, and recyclable materials collection and processing contract with the city, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into a renewal <br />agreement, for aone-year term, with Stephen Campbell & Associates, providing for the <br />service and repair of the Police Department's 32 channel optical recording equipment, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-82 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the complete <br />renovation of the basketball courts located in North Olmsted Park as detailed in the plans <br />and specifications on file in the office of the Director of Public Safety, and authorizing <br />the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the <br />lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review and noted <br />that this matter has been discussed at length in the Recreation Commission and the <br />Recreation Committee. The motion was seconded by Mr. Dailey and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Dailey and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2003-82 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-83 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a contract with DiSilvestro Roofing Company for the purpose of making an emergency <br />replacement of the roof at Fire Station Number Two, and declaring an emergency. <br />13 <br />i <br />
