Council Minutes of 4!15/2003 <br />of the total construction cost of $16 million. The numbers keep changing, and no <br />one can be sure until the project is started. Mrs. Copfer said the city was considering <br />applying for Issue 2 funds, so it would be a 90/10 for North Olmsted's share. <br />Don Pangrac, 23470 Sharon Drive <br />~ Believes the city could save money on leaf pick-up by simply providing bags to the <br />residents. <br />LEGI,~LATION <br />Ordinance No. 2003-44 imroduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing within the Special Revenue Fund group a "Senior Center Hot <br />Lunch Title III Program Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an <br />emergency, as amended. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-44 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-45 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing within the Special Revenue Fund group a "Fire Department <br />FEMA Program Fund" of the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2003-45 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-52 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,375,000 of notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving certain designated streets in the city, in <br />cooperation with the Ohio Department of Transportation and otherwise, by grading, <br />draining, widening, replacing sections of pavement, preparing the surface, surfacing and <br />resurfacing, constructing and reconstructing sections of the pavement base, curbs, gutters, <br />catch basins, sidewalks and driveway approaches and installing traffic signs, signalization <br />and signalization systems, where necessary in each case together with the necessary <br />appurtenances and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-53 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 of notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring a fire pumper and other related fire apparatus <br />and equipment, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-54 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $120,000 of notes, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to pay costs of improving the municipal water distribution system by <br />relining and otherwise improving waterlines, together with the necessary appurtenances <br />and work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />15 <br />4{tt ~~...r~.s+n#~YapANf1S.'nY.. ~ .. <br />
