Council Mututes of 4/15/2003 <br />Ordinance No. 2003-55 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes, in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $500,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring <br />and installing computers and related equipment and software for financial and <br />administrative systems managemem. <br />Resolution No. 2003-b0 inroduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to terminate the conrtract <br />between the city and Carron Asphalt Paving, Inc., for the construction of new tennis <br />courts at North Olmsted Park, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved <br />for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2003-60 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2003-61 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the improvement of South <br />Canterbury Road from the intersection of Butternut Ridge Road to a point south of <br />Springvale Ballroom as detailed in the plans and specifications on file in the office of the <br />City Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. Resolution No. 2003-61 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-62 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a water main easement located on property owned by Capital Hill <br />Development Co. and designated as Permanerrt Parcel No. 231-19-017 on the Cuyahoga <br />County Maps and Records, in connection with the water main supplying water service for <br />Rosewood Clusters, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-64 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an amended <br />lease/purchase agreement with Deere Credit, Inc., in order to add to the city's master <br />lease schedule with Deere Credit, Inc., a certain 1999 John Deere 1145 Rotary Mower <br />with 72" Lastec Deck, further authorizing the trade-in of existing lawn mowing <br />equipment, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of <br />the rule requiring three readings noting the legislation had been reviewed by committee. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously.
