Council Mututes of 4/15/2003 Ordinance No. 2003-55 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes, in a maximum aggregate principal amount of $500,000, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring and installing computers and related equipment and software for financial and administrative systems managemem. Resolution No. 2003-b0 inroduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to terminate the conrtract between the city and Carron Asphalt Paving, Inc., for the construction of new tennis courts at North Olmsted Park, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman McKay moved for adoption. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the improvement of South Canterbury Road from the intersection of Butternut Ridge Road to a point south of Springvale Ballroom as detailed in the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. An ordinance accepting a water main easement located on property owned by Capital Hill Development Co. and designated as Permanerrt Parcel No. 231-19-017 on the Cuyahoga County Maps and Records, in connection with the water main supplying water service for Rosewood Clusters, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2003-64 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an amended lease/purchase agreement with Deere Credit, Inc., in order to add to the city's master lease schedule with Deere Credit, Inc., a certain 1999 John Deere 1145 Rotary Mower with 72" Lastec Deck, further authorizing the trade-in of existing lawn mowing equipment, and declaring an emergency. Councilman McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readings noting the legislation had been reviewed by committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously.
