Council Minutes of 4/1/2003 <br />Resolution No. 2003-61 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the improvement of South <br />Canterbury Road from the intersection of Butternut Ridge Road to a paint south of <br />Springvale Ballroom as detailed in the plans and specifications on file in the office of the <br />City Engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to <br />enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-62 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance accepting a water main easement located on property owned by Capital Hill <br />Development Co. and designated as Permanent Parcel No. 231-19-017 on the Cuyahoga <br />County Maps and Records, in connection with the water main supplying water service for <br />Rosewood Clusters, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2003-63 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Cuyahoga County <br />Board of Health for mosquito control and larval aerial applications in Bradley Woods, <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rules <br />requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2003-63 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-64 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an amended <br />lease/purchase agreement with Deere Credit, Inc., in order to add to the city's master <br />lease schedule with Deere Credit, Inc., a certain 1999 John Deere 1145 Rotary Mower <br />with 72" Lastec Deck, further authorizing the trade-in of existing lawn mowing <br />equipment, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2003-65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Finance to request proposals from information <br />system consultants to develop design specifications for the purchase and installation of a <br />new financial accounting informatian system for the City of North Olmsted; further, <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the consultant selected in the RFP <br />process; and declaring an emergency. <br />MI~CELI,.ANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Miller scheduled an Itrtra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long- <br />Range Planning Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Apri18, to discuss Ordinance <br />2003-43. The Law Duector is asked to attend. Questions regarding this legislation <br />should be forwarded to Councilman Gareau. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />Apri18. The following legislation will be discussed: 2003-52, 2003-53, 2003-54, 2003- <br />- 55, 2003-b0, 2003-64, 2003-65. The Finance Director, the Mayor are asked to attend <br />and, if the Mayor requires him, the Springvale Manager. <br />14 <br />
