Council Minutes of 11/3/2004 <br />committee and was reported out this evening. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman Dailey moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-167 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-131 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial <br />who noted this issue had been discussed extensively over the last several weeks and <br />months. A resolution approving of and authorizing the Mayor to enter into a collective <br />bargaining agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters ("IAFF"), Local <br />1267, for the city's fire fighters, for the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, <br />2006 and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 2004-131 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-169 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council, and he noted this was an annual legislation and <br />the replacement pages cannot be distributed until this is passed. An ordinance to revise <br />the Codified Ordinances by adopting current replacement pages, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for suspension of the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and passed unanimously. Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, asked the cost of <br />the recodification. The Clerk and Finance Director noted the cost was close to $6,000, <br />which was less than the $8,000 that had been appropriated. The Traffic Code cost was <br />$4,000 and had been encumbered last year. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 2004-169 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-170 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchases of a maximum of 35,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for atwelve-month <br />period, for use by the Wastewater Treatment Plant for phosphate removal, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-171 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio (hereinafter <br />referred to as the MUNICIPALITY), in the matter of the hereinafter described <br />improvement (the replacement of Cedar Point Road (CR-193) Bridge No. 22 over the <br />Rocky River) and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by its Board of <br />County Commissioners (hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY), and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />=~,. <br />12 <br />,~.~,~. <br />i <br />
