Council Minutes of 9/'7/20114 <br />Resolution No. 2004-141 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar on behalf of Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to submit an <br />application for State of Ohio Issue 2 funding for Clague Road reconstruction from I-480 <br />to Lorain Road and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-142 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial. A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the <br />City of North Olmsted, to enter into an ageement with Fairview Home Improvement <br />Company, for the purpose of removing and replacing the roof of the Senior Center, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-143 was irnroduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of <br />Planning to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2005 for parking area <br />improvements at the North Olmsted Multi-Service Senior Center, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-144 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. A resolution authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of <br />Planning to make application on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the fiscal year 2005 for the exterior <br />maintenance grant program, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-145 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance creating new Sections 163.OS and <br />163.06 of Chapter 163 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of 1'•iuman <br />Resources" for the purpose of describing the positions of "Outreach Worker" and <br />"Activities Coordinator," respectively, within the organizational chart for the Division of <br />Aging. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-146 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public <br />Service to request proposals from professional architects for design services for the City <br />Hall revampment project, to include the City Hall entrance, lobby, and ADA parking and <br />accessibility route, further authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of <br />Control, to enter into a contract with the architectural firm selected in the RFP process, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSII~TESS <br />Councilman Nashar said that the City Engineer had suggested that Council put <br />Resolution Nos. 2004-140 and 2004-141 on the special Council meeting agenda as there <br />is a deadline to get the application in for the Issue 2 fund. President O'Grady asked <br />Council if there were any objections, and there were none. <br />11 <br />
