Council Minutes of 9/7/2084 <br />Councilman Nashar scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting for 6:30 <br />p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, to discuss Ordinance 2004-138 and Resolution Nos. <br />2004-140 and 2004-141. The Service Director, City Engineer and Law Director are <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on September 14 to <br />discuss the access ingress/egress for Parcel E and Ordinance 2004-119. The Planning <br />Director, Law Director, City Engineer are asked to attend. Area residents Mr. Skoulis <br />and Mrs. Diver should be invited by the Clerk. <br />President O'Grady announced there would be a special Council meeting at 8 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, September 14, with regard to Parcel E. (Also Resolution Nos. 2004-140 and <br />2004-141 will be on the agenda.) <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following <br />the special Council meeting on September 14. The following legislation will be <br />discussed: Ordinance 2004-137, 2004-139 and 2004-145. The Finance Director and <br />Human Resources Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Finance Committee on September 14. The committee will discuss Resolution <br />2004-142 and Ordinance 2004-146. The Safety Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled anInfra-Governmental Relations Committee immediately <br />following the Recreation Committee to discuss Resolution Nos. 2004-143 and 2004-144. <br />The Planning Director and/or Human Resources Director are asked to attend. Another <br />committee meeting will possibly be held on Monday, September 13, for a <br />boards/commissions interview. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting to <br />immediately follow the BZD Committee on September 14. The committee will discuss <br />the Sweetbriar safety issue. A written report is requested from the Safety Director, and <br />his attendance is not required. This is a first approach at the issue, and it will not be <br />resolved that evening. (Should the BZD meeting run late, the Safety Committee will <br />meet after Intra-Governmental Relations Committee.) <br />Councilwoman Kasler commented that formal Council hearings had been proposed for <br />the discussion of residential property maintenance, and that forum was at the <br />recommendation of the Law Director. Recently, after receiving documentation from the <br />administration with regard to questions that would have been posed during those <br />hearings, the Law Director has revised that recommendation to say that now the <br />appropriate forum at this time based on that documentation would be to have this <br />discussed in BZD Committee. Since she initiated the discussion about property <br />maintenance, along with other Council members, she would like to ask Mr. Gareau as <br />12 <br /> <br />
