Council Minutes of 8/3/24(14 <br />Resolution No. 2004-121 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />. McKay. A resolution expressing opposition to the draft health caze preservation plan <br />proposed by Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-122 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for cleaning <br />services at the Recreation Center and for restrooms only at North Olmsted Pazk and <br />BartonlBradley Park, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said <br />cleaning services with the lowest and best bidder, subject to approval by the Board of <br />Control, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Dailey moved for suspension of the <br />rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded <br />by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. A resolution authorizing the Mayor, an behalf of the city, to enter into an <br />agreement with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"j for <br />interim referrals and other HUD services. <br />Resolution No. 2004-124 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution autharizing the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to enter into an agreement with <br />Floyd Browne Associates, Inc., for the purposes of installing sanitary sewer flow meters <br />on the Barton Road sanitary sewer, and providing a conceptual design for sanitary sewers <br />proposed for the JEDD area of Olmsted Township, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Nashar moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Miller asked for an explanation of JEDD. Law Director <br />Dubelko said it was Joint Economic Development District. Councilman Nashaz moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-124 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-126 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance amending Section 109.02 of Chapter 109 of the Administrative Code, <br />entitled "Public Meetings," in order to transfer all clerical duties set forth in Chapter 109 <br />relating to the Housing Council and the Tax Incentive Review Council, from the Mayor's <br />secretary to the Finance Department secretary. <br />MISCELLANEO~TS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a Building, Zoning & Development Committee meeting <br />for 7 p.m, on Monday, August 9, to discuss Ordinances 2004-66 and 2004-119 and <br />several Planning Commission items.
