Council Minutes of 6/15!20(14 <br />Ordinance No. 2004-103 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section 149.02 of Chapter 149 of the Administrative <br />Code of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Planning Commission" so as to expand <br />notification of residents and property owners for review of development plans which also <br />include rezoning proposals. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-104 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending Section One of Ordinance No. 2004-18, which <br />provided for the Director of Law to retain the law firm of Johnson, Angelo & Colaluca, <br />LLC, as outside counsel to assist the city in labor negotiations, so as to authorize an <br />additional expenditure of funds pursuant to the said cornract entered into between the city <br />and said law firm, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for <br />suspension of the rule requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been <br />reviewed in committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-104 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-105 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an ageement with the North Olmsted <br />City School District in order to obtain bus transportation services from the school district <br />for the city's summer 2004 recreation and playground program, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mayor Musial noted the legislation had been discussed during caucus. <br />Councilman Dailey moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Dailey moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-105 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-106 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman <br />Kasler. An ordinance creating new Section 109.07 of Chapter 109 of the Administrative <br />Code, entitled "Public Meetings," in order to clarify the clerical positions responsible for <br />open meetings and public records functions arising out of meetings and other <br />governmental actions of the various boards and commissions of the city, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-107 was irnroduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution determining to submit to the electors the question of issuing bonds for the <br />purpose of constructing, fiunishing, equipping and otherwise improving a fire station, <br />providing fire apparatus and equipment to be housed therein and acquiring, preparing and <br />otherwise improving real estate and interests therein for its site; and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-108 was irnroduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the payment of seven thousand four hundred seventy-one <br />($7,471.00) dollars to Hughie's Audio Visual for the installation of special lighting for <br />the May 21, 2004 ice show. <br />14 <br />
