Council Minutes of 6/15/2t1~4 <br />Resolution No. 2004-109 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />resolution authorizing the payment of one thousand forty-nine dollars ($1,049.00) to Joe <br />D's Printing for programs for the May 21, 2004 ice show. <br />Resolution No. 2004-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the payment of five thousand one hundred ninety dollars <br />($5,190.00) to Jeff Marshall for costumes for the May 21, 2004 ice show. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into cone-year contract with Lexis-Nexis, a <br />division of Reed Elsevier Inc., for the purpose of providing Internet-based legal research <br />services to the city Law Department, and declaring an emergency. Mayor Musial noted <br />the legislation had been discussed during caucus. Councilman Limpert moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Gateau and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gateau and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-111 adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for <br />7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, to discuss Ordinance 2004-106. The Law Director is asked <br />to attend and any board or commission clerk who wishes to attend may do so or may <br />provide written input. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting to <br />immediately follow the Intra-Governmental Relations meeting on June 22. Resolution <br />2004-10'7 will be discussed as well as the cell phone ordinance as it currently exists <br />versus making it a primary offense. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee <br />meeting to immediately follow the Public Safety Committee meeting on June 22. <br />Resolutions 2004-108, 2004-109 and 2004-110 will be discussed. The Safety Director or <br />his designee is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gateau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />June 28, to discuss the Parcel E site plan. The Planning Director, Law Director, Building <br />Department representative and City Engineer are asked to attend. <br />Due to his Late arrival on June 1, 2004, Councilman Miller recorded his votes from that <br />Council meeting: third reading, yes on adoption of Resolution 2004-82 and Ordinance <br />2004-85; second reading, yes on suspension and adoption of Ordinances 2004-93 and <br />2004-94; first reading, yes on suspension and adoption of Resolution 2004-98 and <br />Ordinance 2004-99. <br />~5 <br /> <br />
