Council Minutes of 5/18/2004 :s.~ Ordinance No. 2004-79 introduced by Councilman Gareau was given its third reading ~~ An ordinance amending Sections 109.02, 109.03, 109.04, and 109.06, of Chapter 109 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Public Meetings," in order to provide for notice of Charter Review Commission meetings and clarify language in various sections of Chapter 109 and declaring an emergency. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-79 adopted. Resolution No. 2004-82 introduced by Councilman Limpert on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution dispensing with the RFP process required by Sections 111.03 et seq. of the Administrative Code, authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewal agreement with Jeffrey A. Grusenmeyer & Associates, Inc., for an additional one year term, to serve as plans examiner for the North Olmsted Building Department, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2004-85 introduced by Councilman Dailey on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2002-14 to eliminate the "We Care" program for city employees and their dependents, and to otherwise restate the program fees for the use of the city's Parks and Recreation facilities, as amended. Resolution No. 2004-86 introduced by Councilman Miller on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with SBC for the purchase, installation and maintenance of an updated "911" positron telephone system for the North Olmsted Police and Fire Departments, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Miller moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings noting that the legislation had been reviewed and recommended by committee. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Kasler and passed unanimously. Councilman Miller moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-86 adopted. Resolution No. 2004-87 introduced by Councilman Limpert on behalf of Mayor Musial was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted City School District to coordinate with the city's Department of Human Resources to provide community service coordination and intervention services as an alternative to or to supplement traditional discipline imposed by school authorities, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Councilman Limpert moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and noted the legislation had been reviewed by committee.
