Council Minates of 3/16/2004 <br />,~ Ordinance No. 2004-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Nashar. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, in the matter of the <br />hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of <br />Cuyahoga by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the <br />COUNTY. (A 200 foot section of Cook Road) Councilman Nashar moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. Councilman Nashar moved <br />for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-49 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-50 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance establishing range of compensation rates for the following positions transferred <br />to the Department of Planning: Clerk of Commissions and Assistant Clerk of <br />Commissions; and otherwise re-establishing the compensation rate ranges for various <br />administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 and 2005, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-51 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance amending Sections 1101.05 and 1101.09 of Chapter 1101 of the Planning and <br />Zoning Code entitled "Subdivision Regulations" to increase the deposit amount for the <br />review and recording of major and minor subdivision plats, easements, preliminary plans, <br />topographic maps and other data submitted to the City Engineer. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-52 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section 111.01 of the Administrative Code of the City <br />of North Olmsted, entitled "City Contracts," in order to provide for a program whereby <br />interested community or charity groups can staff concession trailers at the city parks and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-53 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey. An ordinance amending Section 505.08 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses <br />Code entitled "Animals and Fowl," in order to prohibit noxious or offensive odors or <br />unsanitary conditions that create a nuisance, injurious to the health, safety and public <br />welfare. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-54 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Dailey. An ordinance amending Section 505.071 of Chapter 505 of the General Offenses <br />Code entitled "Animals and Fowl," to provide that deprivation of veterinary medical care <br />may constitute neglect of an animal. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-55 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Section One of Ordinance No. 93-24, which created an <br />Economic Development Fund within the city's Special Revenue Fund Group, in order to <br />clarify and expand the purposes for which monies may be expended from the said fund <br />for economic development related purposes, and declaring an emergency.
