Council Minutes of 3/16/2004 <br />Gareau moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review, <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman <br />Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-55 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a corrtract with Harrington Electric Co. for <br />the purchase and installation of seven interior electrical panels at the Recreation Center, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 2004-17 and amending Section 111.02 of <br />Chapter 111 of the Administrative Code, entitled "City Contracts" in order to require the <br />city's contractors to disclose information relating to past litigation involving claims by or <br />against the contractor, and declaring an emergency. <br />NIISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President O'Grady announced that a public hearing would be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />April 20, 2004, with regard to Ordinance No. 2004-39. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 6:15 p.m. on <br />Wednesday, March 24, to discuss Ordinance Nos. 2004-21 (appropriations) and 2004-50. <br />The Mayor and Finance Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Finance Committee on March 24 to discuss Ordinance Nos. <br />2004-46, 2004-47, 2004-48 and 2004-57. The Mayor and/or his designee and the Law <br />Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee on March 24 to <br />discuss a liquor permit transfer and Ordinance Nos. 2004-53 and 2004-54. The Animal <br />Warden and/or the Safety Director are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee <br />meeting immediately following the Public Safety Committee on March 24 to discuss <br />Ordinance Nos. 2004-52 and 2004-56. The Safety Director and an administrative <br />designee are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting immediately following the <br />Recreation Committee on March 24 to discuss Ordinance No. 2004-51 and Planning <br />Commission items.
