Council Minutes of 3/16/2004 Gareau moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review, The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2004-55 adopted. Ordinance No. 2004-56 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a corrtract with Harrington Electric Co. for the purchase and installation of seven interior electrical panels at the Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 2004-57 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman Gareau. An ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 2004-17 and amending Section 111.02 of Chapter 111 of the Administrative Code, entitled "City Contracts" in order to require the city's contractors to disclose information relating to past litigation involving claims by or against the contractor, and declaring an emergency. NIISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS President O'Grady announced that a public hearing would be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, with regard to Ordinance No. 2004-39. Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, to discuss Ordinance Nos. 2004-21 (appropriations) and 2004-50. The Mayor and Finance Director are asked to attend. Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intra-Governmental Relations Committee meeting immediately following the Finance Committee on March 24 to discuss Ordinance Nos. 2004-46, 2004-47, 2004-48 and 2004-57. The Mayor and/or his designee and the Law Director are asked to attend. Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting immediately following the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee on March 24 to discuss a liquor permit transfer and Ordinance Nos. 2004-53 and 2004-54. The Animal Warden and/or the Safety Director are asked to attend. Councilman Dailey scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee meeting immediately following the Public Safety Committee on March 24 to discuss Ordinance Nos. 2004-52 and 2004-56. The Safety Director and an administrative designee are asked to attend. Councilman Gareau scheduled a BZD Committee meeting immediately following the Recreation Committee on March 24 to discuss Ordinance No. 2004-51 and Planning Commission items. The Planning Director is asked to attend. 12
