Council Minutes of 3/3/2004 <br />Heights. One of the things she suggested was that they annually do a resolution for April <br />as being Fair Housing Month. He thinks it's important to demonstrate ow commitment <br />to the program we have adopted. Roll call continued: Miller, yes; Dailey, yes; Limpert, <br />yes; McKay, yes; Nashar, yes. The motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2004-32 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of Councilwoman Kasler. Councilman Limpert noted that he was in <br />possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. An ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of $1,370,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of <br />improving certain designated streets in the city, in cooperation with the Ohio Department <br />of Transportation and otherwise, by grading, draining, widening, replacing sections of <br />pavement, preparing the surface, surfacing and resurfacing, constructing and <br />reconstructing sections of the pavement base, curbs, gutters, catch basins, sidewalks and <br />driveway approaches and installing traffic signs, signalization and signalization systems, <br />where necessary, in each case together with the necessary appurtenances and work <br />incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-34 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of Councilwoman Kasler. Councilman Limpert noted that he was in <br />possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. An ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of $550,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of <br />acquiring emergency rescue squad and other motor vehicles and related equipment for the <br />city's Fire Department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-35 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of Councilwoman Kasler. Councilman Limpert noted that he was in <br />possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. An ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of notes, in the aggregate principal amount of $400,000, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds, to pay costs of acquiring and installing computers and related <br />equipment and software for financial and administrative systems management, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-36 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert on behalf of Councilwoman Kasler. Councilman Limpert noted that he was in <br />possession of the Fiscal Officer's Certificate. An ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale of $100,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to pay costs of <br />acquiring a fire pumper and other related fire apparatus and equipment, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 2004-37 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to request proposals for art <br />coordination and procurement services for the North Olmsted library building; fwther, <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the proposer selected in the RFP <br />process and approved by the Board of Control; and declaring an emergency.
